Uta Peyrer. Expanding Space and Stretching Time / Räumliche Ausbreitung und zeitliche Ausdehnung

This is the first presentation of work by the Austrian painter Uta Peyrer in the Czech Republic. In its ground-floor and first-floor spaces, the CMFA acquaints viewers with a selection of her work from the 1960s up to the present day. Her cultivated painting is created in several series which have a common denominator in concentrated expression inspired by relationships between the individual and the cosmos.... Her work shares an affinity with several Czech artists who have found a similar source of inspiration since the 1960s.
