Penny in the Fountain

‘Penny in the Fountain’ is an exhibition that uses processes as portals and
gateways to lead the imagination from one state to another. These
processes – of reimagining, reforming, translating and opening up – are
developed through the works of four artists: Martine Flor (NO), Veronika
Eberhart (AT), Lieven Lahaye (BE), Anu Vahtra (EE). In this context,
‘throwing a penny in a fountain’ suggests a certain kind of action or acting
out – a belief in the creation of a prophecy through the combination of
wish, action and the charging of everyday objects....
