Room of Entities is a collective dream space where sounds, objects, performers and audience coexist in a timeless atmosphere. ROE invites you to enter an immersive sphere of sensation and rest.

Referring to the discourse of New Materialism, entities are negotiated in various forms in order to create a specific awareness for human relation to other species, nature and technology. We consider the dream a fitting realm to rethink these relations. The underlying assumption of this project is that sound is perceived as an entity, interdependent with other entities....

Room of Entities is a collaborative work by artists Eva Sommer, Nora Aaron Scherer and Moritz Nahold within the structures of „ZAK - zentrum für antidisziplinäre kunst“. An association founded in spring 2020 to enable work in an accessible and collaborative framework. ZAK counteracts the separation of popular, sub- and high culture, motivates the emancipation of habitual practices, aesthetics and formats.
