Surveillance Camera Players NY (SCP) führen in Graz ihre Erforschung des 
öffentlichen Raumes fort. Gemeinsam mit europäischen PartnerInnen den 
Dyne.org (Italien), Nodo50 (Spanien) ziehen sie ein neues Netz durch die 
Stadt das Netz der Überwachungskameras. 
SCP werden im öffentlichen Raum jene Plätze "bespielen", die von 
Überwachungskameras beobachtet werden und deren Aufzeichnungen im Web 
öffentlich zugänglich sind. Zusätzlich werden im öffentlichen Raum neue 
Überwachungskameras installiert. Die Stadt wird zum bespielten Kunstraum der 
ESC; die Grenze zwischen geplantem=organisiertem Programm und Offzeit 
verschwimmt, weil die Kameras kontinuierlich Daten übertragen.

Die ESC selbst verwandelt sich in Taystesroom, eine 
Überwachungsrauminszenierung von Jenny Marketou. Die in Graz realisierte 
Version ist damit die dritte Repräsentationsform, der dritte "client" von 
Taystes, www.taystes-OS.net, an Open Source Interface Client especially 
created for PLEASE IDENTIFY exhibition as an Open Source web browser with 
sound.
